Since 2012, Boat Tour The Hague, also known as Boot Varen Den Haag, has been offering private group cruises through the canals of The Hague.
With local knowledge and experience, we love making your boat tour truly memorable.
⚓️ We sail from March to October. Current days and times are shown in the online booking agenda.
⚓️ A canal tour through The Hague city centre takes at least 1,5 hours.
⚓️ We cruise with open boats and (partly) electric boats.
⚓️ In March, April and October, our electric sloop can be used with a cover. In these months, not all routes may be available (route-dependent).

What kind of boat tour is this?
⚓️ You always rent the boat exclusively for your group. No shared tickets and no other guests on board.
⚓️ The vibe is up to you and you can let the skipper know: relaxed cruising, or a guided tour with local stories and highlights.
⚓️ We cruise with open boats and quiet (partly) electric options.
In early/late season we can also offer a covered electric sloop (route-dependent).

⚓️ Perfect for friends, families, birthdays, bachelor(ette) parties, company outings and student groups.
⚓️ Larger groups are possible. We can deploy multiple boats at the same time when needed.
Routes & boarding
We offer several route options, depending on your preferred duration and the waterways that are accessible on the day.

⚓️ The Hague city centre canal cruise (historic canal ring) minimum 1,5 hours.
⚓️ The Hague city centre + extra canals (extended city route) Ideal if you want more time on the water.
⚓️ The Hague Central Station → Scheveningen (one-way route, green canals, route-dependent).
⚓️ The Hague → Delft (longer tour, route-dependent).
⚓️ The Hague → Leidschendam-Voorburg (longer tour, route-dependent).
⚓️ Routes with alternative boarding or drop-off locations may be subject to an additional cruising fee.
⚓️ Our three standard boarding locations are listed in the online booking agenda.
⚓️ Not all routes are available on every date (for example in early or late season, or due to route availability). If you have a specific route in mind, please mention it in your booking notes or contact us and we’ll be happy to advise.
