This is the online booking agenda of Boot Varen Den Haag, also known as Boat Tour The Hague. Through this calendar you can book private boat tours, both during the day and in the evening.

A canal cruise is usually 1.5 hours and always includes a skipper. You can instantly see which boats are available, on which dates and at what times.

How booking via the online agenda works

⚓ Select your boat: pick the best size for your group (12 / 18 / 34 persons).

⚓ Choose your package: boat with skipper (bring your own food & drinks) or combine it with one of our popular cruise packages.

⚓ Select a boarding location: for more information scroll down ↓

⚓ Pick date & time: you’ll instantly see what’s available.

⚓ Price calculation: boat price + optional package price per person = total price (incl. VAT).

After confirmation, you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation in English and your boat is automatically reserved in our planning.

⚓ Deposit: €50 deposit is required to confirm your booking. You receive a separate deposit invoice by e-mail.

⚓ Tip: if your preferred boat is fully booked, check if a larger boat is still available and secure your cruise.

Price private canal cruise The Hague

  • Price €245 up to 12 passengers.

    Saturday surcharge €15

  • Price €330 up to 18 passengers.

    Saturday surcharge €20

  • Price €425 up to 34 passengers.
  • incl. 1 hour and 30 minutes cruise, happy skipper / guide and VAT.
  • You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board.

    Please take everything with you afterwards.

  • For 5,- we provide a large cool box (70L) on board.

    Ideal if you bring own cold drinks.
    No ice included.

  • TIP: Surprise everyone with Dutch bitterballen during the canal cruise.

  • Several parking garages in the area, all paid parking.
  • Next to bus & tram station Bierkade.

    Tram number 1 & 9 go all the way to Scheveningen Beach from this station.

  • Canal cruise outside the city centre 1H & 30M.
  • On board, you can let the skipper know your preferred choice for the canal cruise.

Boat Tour The Hague

  • Private boat tour with happy English speaking skipper.
  • Guiding is possible: the skipper can share beautiful highlights on request.
  • Own catering allowed | Bring your own food and drinks at no cost.
  • Life jackets available if desired.
  • Our partially electric tour boats are regularly inspected and come with passenger insurance.
  • Via our music system you can play your own music on board. Connection via Bluetooth.
  • If it rains on the day of your boat tour, you can cancel free of charge "up to 2 hours in advance".

    ⚓️ In consultation, the start time of the cruise can sometimes be adjusted slightly earlier or later.

    ⚓️ During the cruise, we can take shelter under a bridge in case of light rain. It usually turns into a relaxed and fun moment on board.

⚓ How do I book a canal cruise via this page?

Use the online booking agenda on this page. Select your boat, package, boarding location, then choose date and time. After confirmation, you’ll receive an email confirmation in English.

⚓ Is this agenda for daytime and evening cruises?

Yes. This agenda shows availability for both daytime and evening private cruises. Available time slots are shown directly in the calendar.

⚓ What is the standard cruise duration?

The standard duration is 1.5 hours.

⚓ Are the cruises private?

Yes. All cruises booked via this agenda are private, with a skipper, for your group only.

⚓ Is there guiding / commentary on board?

Yes, at the start of the cruise the skipper will share some highlights along the route. During the tour, you’re free to let the skipper know what you prefer: chatting among yourselves, occasional commentary, or music playing softly in the background. This can all be discussed on board.

⚓ Can we deviate from the standard cruise?

Yes, but not via this agenda. For a longer cruise, a different boarding location, or a custom request, please use the booking form or contact page.

⚓ What happens after I confirm my booking?

After confirmation, the boat is automatically reserved in our planning and you’ll receive an email confirmation in English. You will also receive a separate deposit invoice by email. Once the deposit is paid, the booking is definitively confirmed.

⚓ What if my preferred time is not available?

Check the agenda to see if another boat or time slot is available. If you need help finding an alternative, please contact us.
